FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN

I have just had a very busy working weekend, but a very good one. I was one of the official photographers for the inaugural FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN organised by Michael Meyer from Stillwater Sports that also organise Wine 2 Whales, the ProNutro African X Trailrun, the Totalsports XTERRA and many more. The FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN is a very fast 12 kilometre run that starts in Milnerton and finishes at the FNB Portside building in the heart of Cape Town. The race was won by the Kenyan Emmanuel Bett who clocked a fast 33:32:00, one second off the world record. Sounds like this run is for the fast and furious on the contrary, the bulk of the field which consisted of thousands of runners had a festive time along the route and some taking in excess of two and a half hours to finish. This event is a must for all that enjoy some exercise. Enjoy some images from this years event.
